He is member of the Austrian Chamber of chartered public accountants and tax consultants (Kammer der Wirtschaftstreuhänder – KWT) and of the Institute of Austrian Chartered Accountants (Institut Österrreichischer Wirtschaftsjprüfer – IWP).

Gerald graduated from the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna in 2006. He acquired the professional qualification as certified tax advisor in 2008 and the qualification as a certified auditor in 2014.
