Transparency Report
As an auditing company that carries out audits of companies of public interest, Grant Thornton Austria-GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft publishes a transparency report every year. In doing so, we comply with the legal requirements to provide the public with comprehensive information about our company on an annual basis.
Pursuant to Section 55 of the Auditor Oversight Act (APAG) and Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No 537/2014, auditors and audit firms are obliged to publish a transparency report on their website annually - no later than four months after the end of the financial year - if they conduct at least one audit of a public interest entity in the year.
The transparency report mainly contains information on the company and management structure as well as on our international Grant Thornton network. It also includes information on our internal quality assurance system and on the measures we take to safeguard the independence of our company and our employees. Further content is regulated in Article 13 (2) of Regulation (EU) No 537/2014.
