MMag. Simon Horst Preschern is Associate Partner of Grant Thornton Austria. He has years of experience in auditing individual and consolidated financial statements, both under national and international law (IFRS).
During his work as an auditor, he assists medium-sized and large manufacturing and trading companies from a wide range of industries. Before joining Grant Thornton, MMag. Simon Horst Preschern worked for a Big4 Audit firm for many years.
He is specialized in auditing and supporting of public companies with a focus on the health care sector as well as in the auditing and support of internationally active industrial companies.
Furthermore, he has profound knowledge in auditing and advising energy supply companies (EVU) and in credit risk assessment.
Simon Horst Preschern is a certified public accountant and graduated in Business Administration and Economics & Law.
He is a member of the Institute of Austrian Certified Public Accountants (IWP) and the Chamber of Tax Advisors and Certified Public Accountants (KSW).
