Georg H. Jeitler is a partner at Grant Thornton Austria and Head of Forensic Services & Compliance Advisory. He has been active in corporate consultancy for more than 20 years and has realized national and international projects in various industries as well as in the public sector. He focuses on strategic issues, the optimization of compliance systems and anti-fraud as well as anti-corruption and provides expertise as forensic economist in litigation.

Georg H. Jeitler leads the forensic practice in Austria, which includes forensic investigations as well as digital forensics and cyber incident response.

As a forensic expert and specialist for investigation of fraudulent activities like fictitious services, he regularly is appointed by courts and public prosecutors' offices in large-scale corporate fraud and corruption cases. Apart from this, he conducts internal investigations for the private sector and provides expert opinions on various economic issues in litigation. He is a publicly appointed, sworn and court-certified expert witness for business consultancy, corporate management, company valuation and costing, as well as for copyright, media, marketing and business communications. As a speaker, he covers topics of white-collar crime, compliance and over-regulation in the field of compliance systems. A further specific area of his focus is intellectual property rights management, also in the context of blockchain and NFTs.

Georg H. Jeitler publishes on business forensics and is a lecturer at several universities. He is a graduate of an MBA programme in Management Consultancy and holds a Master's degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Vienna. Georg H. Jeitler is member of the Austrian Court Experts’ Association, senate member on expert witness certifications and founding member of a white-collar crime investigation specialists network.
