Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias is a Partner and Head of Audit at Grant Thornton Austria.

She is a certified public accountant, tax advisor and generally sworn and court-certified expert for, among other things, business valuation, corporate planning and accounting.

For more than 18 years, her work has focused on auditing annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and IFRS, conducting special audits and auditing internal control systems.

Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias acts as an expert in court proceedings, and for her clients, in the area of accounting and company valuation and advises her clients on various valuation issues (transactions, severance payments, purchase price allocations, impairment tests, management equity programs).

Her focus lies on digital transformation, payment services along with blockchain and crypto asset services. Her experience also includes many years in auditing the financial statements of major Austrian industrial companies.
