As an expert in the field of tax law with a focus on corporate income tax, value added tax and international issues, she advises both Austrian SMEs and international group companies.

Before joining our company, she worked numerous years for a Big Four and for other renowned Austrian consulting companies, where she was also responsible for the professional training of employees.

Claudia Modarressy is a specialist lecturer for income and value added tax law as well as civil, corporate and corporate law and has also published in these areas. She holds a law degree from the University of Vienna.

The temporary introduction of a 5 % VAT rate for areas particularly affected by COVID-19 was unanimously approved by the National Council on Tuesday, 30 June 2020. An amendment - also adopted unanimously - also clarified and extended the areas benefiting.
