Experience

Christian Reischl is a Partner and Head of Advisory at Grant Thornton Austria. In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s entire Advisory practice, bringing together the expertise of its various advisory service lines under one leadership structure. In addition, he heads the IT Audit & Data Analytics practice.

As a certified public auditor, technology consultant and digital transformation expert, he combines extensive expertise in accounting, finance transformation, compliance and technology. He acts as a bridge between the finance function, IT and regulatory requirements, supporting organisations in delivering complex transformation programmes in a pragmatic and sustainable manner.

His areas of expertise include the digital transformation of finance organisations, the design and optimisation of accounting, reporting and controlling processes, data analytics and business intelligence, the implementation of automation and artificial intelligence solutions, as well as functional support for ERP implementations and ERP transformations. He also advises on IT-enabled controls, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and the management of complex ERP, finance and IT projects.

His industry focus spans Financial Services, Transport & Logistics, Manufacturing, and the Aviation sector.
