Thus our audits are conducted in line with both Austrian and International Standards on Auditing.

Grant Thornton HorizonTM - uniform global audit approach

Grant Thornton HorizonTM is the uniform global audit approach of Grant Thornton International. It is process-oriented and risk-based. International group audits require that the group auditor and the auditors of subsidiaries around the world cooperate effectively across language barriers and cultural differences.  Grant Thornton VoyagerTM the audit software used throughout the international organization ensures that the auditors in the various countries are guided by the same approach to methodology, processes and quality control. GTI Horizon™ is based on the International Standards on Auditing. The methodology and the software are continuously updated and improved.

Assurance related advisory services are based on the knowledge and expertise that are the staff of life of our auditors.

  • Support with IFRS or US-GAAP transition
  • Consolidation support and compilation of group accounts
  • Assistance in the compilation of accounting manuals
  • Audit readiness training for accounting staff
  • Development of risk management methodologies and reporting
  • Support in the compilation of corporate governance reports

For reasons of independence these services must not be provided to audit clients. They are also not part of the scope of an audit.^
